Leadership Team

Rob Hirschfeld, Founder & CEO

Rob has been in the cloud and infrastructure space for 20 years and has done everything from start-ups working with early ESX betas to serving four terms on the OpenStack Foundation Board and as an executive at Dell. As leader on the2030.cloud, he believes that the technology of running data centers and applications on cloud is just part of the bigger story. He trained as an Industrial Engineer and carries a passion for applying Lean and Agile processes to software delivery.  Rob has received degrees from Duke University and Louisiana State University.

Greg Althaus, Founder & CTO

Greg holds several patents and in his current role as founder and CTO of RackN, he brings over 25 years of experience of designing, building, and delivering large systems involving networking, security, and system operations. Prior to RackN, Greg worked as lead architect for Dell in creating the Crowbar project that led to Digital Rebar and RackN. With stints at big companies (IBM, Dell, NetApp) and start-ups (TimesN, Mirage Networks, Newisys), Greg brings a wealth of experience in management and product leadership to RackN.  Greg is a native Texan and a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Jeanette Sullivan, COO/CFO

Jeanette is a CPA (North Carolina) with a 30-year track record of working with organizations in transition, both nationally and internationally. Jeanette began her career in the first wave of technology transformation, working on large system integrations for MCI, PacBell, and Export-Import Bank of the US at Andersen Consulting. After receiving her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Jeanette consulted with PwC’s crisis management business, leading projects in SEC investigations, litigation, and bankruptcy. More recently, Jeanette worked at a subsidiary of Regions Financial Corporation as an SVP of Finance, leading the financial expansion of the investment manager from $1 billion to $2.2 billion AUM, expanding into 7 countries, and increasing margin by 15%.
